A mate of mine (Thanks Mel) sent me a link to this Youtube video and I was so taken that I decided to post it here.
Chris and I did have the opportunity to see some Birds of Paradise a few years back while holidaying in PNG but saw nothing like this.

While I helped build Port Moresby’s new airport as a Australian Government Aid Project for Independence, Pat worked in the Biology Department at the University of PNG. We several times went “bush” with researchers to net birds of paradise for their study purposes. Long time ago now but a very special experience, getting to places, the netting and recording. Not sure you could do that today?
