Our 2018 Tour involved a journey from Melbourne across the Great Divide to meet up with Harold and Di in Maroochydore where they were taking delivery of their new camper. From there we headed up the east coast and only turning around once we got to the tip of Cape York. From there we headed across the Savannah Way to Darwin then Alice followed be a trip down the Binns track to mount dare, then to Lake Gairdner, Gawler ranges and Home. 17,000 Km in total.
A trip to remember. Our first one with more than one vehicle. Huge contrast in scenery and weather. What can one say other than we live in a magnificent country. We are truly lucky to be able to enjoy this vast land.
After a number of years of exploring outback SA, NSW and QLD with a short foray into the Kimberley it was time to spend some time in WA. We did however revisit the corner country; one of our favourite areas
In 2011 we took a year off from travelling the Australian Outback. This gallery is an eclectic collection of photos that include but not limited to, a quick trip to Bali, Picking up our fabulous new camper from Caloundra in QLD and the journey home plus some bushwalking at Portsea. During the year we also had the birth of 2 new grandchildren, making a total of 6. Grandchildren photos however are not public galleries except for the one exception of yours truly in this gallery very proudly holding Callum.
A journey of many contrast from weather to scenery, with a good mate as travelling companion. Areas include Outback NSW and QLD, Porcupine Gorge, Undara Volcanic National Park, Cobold Gorge, Lawn Hill, Flinders Ranges and many more.
Our 2009 trek included Broken Hill (again), Birdsville, Isisford, Longreach, Carnarvon Ranges, Mungo, Gawler Ranges, Arkaroola, Warraweena, Sothern Fliners Ranges, Mt Remarkable and York Peninsula in SA.
A Gallery of Birds, Animals, and Bugs from various parts of Australia and elsewhere. Some were obviously in zoos and some of the butterflies (and the large monitor) are from the Phillipines.
