One day over a coffee in early 2016 a Mate says to me, “why don’t we take a drive and do the Canning Stock Route”. “Why not, how about around June next year” says me.
SO Here we are
6 Blokes about to take of on an adventure in 3 Toyota Land Cruisers planning to do the 1800 km Canning Stock Route.
We will probably commence travelling on around the 26/27th of May from home when Alan and I will head for Adelaide in 2 Land Cruisers, picking up 4 more blokes and another vehicle before heading to Alice via the main highway.
The plan is to leave Alice Springs on the afternoon of the 4th of June and head up the Tanami Hwy (Hwy ?- Hmmmm: that’s a joke) to the top of the Canning Stock Route at Billiluna.
